We always see many articles/post, etc. about what to give to your loved one, but people often forget that Valentine's is not just about that special someone ( boyfriend ) but it can also be about friends, family, co-workers, etc. . It's a day to say '' I'm not emotionally dead, I have feelings and I like you '' in a non-romantic way.

Cupcakes make everyone happy. You're not human if it does not bring a smile to your face...just saying.
Get together with friends and drink Champagne.

Chocolates are always welcomed..plus, you could use them with the Champagne above!
Lipstick or lipgloss is always necessary.

DeleteIt's not that I hate Valentine's day, but it is kinda stupid. Actually I just got out of a date to hang out with my friends at Valentine's :) I'd rather spend the day with them, thank go to a restaurant full of assumed love because of a stupid holiday, if you can call it that. It would just be too weird. Another thing is, that we always need a holiday or birthday to celebrate each other and life - why not give a gift on a normal, grey Tuesday instead of on the red Valentine's? Maybe I've just got tired of the stupid gift-race and celebration on stupid days.

You're right, why not show love for others on days that are not holidays? We should do that more and not only on determined dates, life should be about celebration, i mean, we are alive that's a good reason to celebrate :)

I love the idea of getting together with friends and having a little champagne. I never really 'celebrate' Vday because it always falls on a day that I have to work. But I love the idea of sending one of my friend's a bottle of nail polish or something cute like that.
