Spring colors : The Fashion Lemonade

Last week I posted about the color of the year, which is EMERALD, and I mentioned that there are other colors that have been selected for spring/2013, so, in this post we´ll talk about the lemon zest color, which is practically a yellow.

I think this color is fun, if you are wearing neutrals and want to spice it up, just add a pop of yellow and bam! you are brighten! and fun, and different, and I bet it will give you a good mood. This color makes me smile, don't know why but it does, it's just so happy ( I will tone it down now... )

Let's check some outfits that I think you're going to love and hopefully will inspire you to try this color:

This is very casual. I think yellow is a relaxing color, it makes you feel not to stressed out about things and that's just what it demonstrates here.

Jumper: H&M Just 15 Euros.
Jeans: New Religion
Sandals: Asos
Nail color: Opi '' Red My Fortune Cookie ''
Sunglasses: Ray Ban.

Next is the more classy outfit. Yellow looks great with blue shades elements. Blazer adds more sophistication to the looks. And the bag just brings the pop of color in a classy way!

Shoes: Zara / Blazer: chicnova.com / Bag: Alexander Mcqueen / Necklace: Rings And Things

This one is pure color-block. Since all clothes are in strong colors, it's good to tone it down with the neutral accessories.

Cardigan: Topshop / Shirt: Stylebop.com / Shoes: Marc Jacobs / Bag: Lipsy.co.uk / Link Necklace: The Iconic

And now a little something extra... celebrities using the Lemon Zest !

So, tell me, what do you think of this color? Loving it as much as I do? Willing to give a try ?

Happy Friday !
